Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with Gladstone Festivals and Events, who will act in the role of event coordinators for this year’s Botanic to Bridge FunD Run.

The new partnership for Gladstone’s favourite fundraising event was a natural progression, with Gladstone Festivals and Events having staged many of the region’s major community events.

Chief Executive Officer, Craig Doyle said GPC looks forward to working alongside Gladstone Festivals and Events to deliver the fifth annual Botanic to Bridge.

“Gladstone Festivals and Events bring extensive knowledge in executing and running popular and successful community events and we look forward working together to deliver another fantastic Botanic to Bridge,” Mr Doyle said.

Event Coordinator, Abi Galbraith said Gladstone Festivals and Events are excited to be on board for the major fundraising event.

“Botanic to Bridge is such an important local event. It not only promotes healthy lifestyles, but funds raised are directed straight back into the community,” Ms Galbraith said.

This year’s Botanic to Bridge will be held on Sunday, 17th August.

It is anticipated that over 4,000 locals and visitors will hit the pavement for this year’s event, so it pays to take advantage of discounted early bird prices by registering for the 8km or 3km events now.

Register online to take part in this year's Botanic to Bridge, or apply to be this year’s major beneficiary.

Beneficiary applications close at 5pm and participant early bird registration discount close at midnight on Monday 30th June 2014.
