Home Gladstone businesses team up for 2013 Botanic to Bridge
Gladstone Ports Corporation, along with its community minded partners, will once again host the Botanic to Bridge on Sunday 18 August 2013.
The event has been a part of Gladstone's calendar for the past three years, and during that time has raised over $120,000 for schools and community organisations in our region.
GPC CEO Leo Zussino, agreed the Botanic to Bridge was a unique event providing an opportunity to promote healthy lifestyles and provide financial support for worthy community groups.
“The Botanic to Bridge is a valued event in GPC’s community investment portfolio, and continues to deliver positive results particularly in the areas of health, education and financial support for community projects,” Mr Zussino said.
“The event is non-profit, with every dollar from registrations going back to the community and our schools.
“GPC together with its valued sponsors, provide an opportunity for local organisations to access funding for their projects, and for our children to learn the importance of healthy choices.
“I am delighted to continue our partnership with our sponsor family, without the financial input from these organisations, the Botanic to Bridge event would not be possible."
The Botanic to Bridge event is proudly sponsored by Gladstone Regional Council, BUPA, Arrow Energy, GLNG, APLNG, Bechtel, Mercure Gladstone, Jetset Gladstone and QantasLink, Hutchinson Builders, the Observer, Gladstone News, Channel 7, Zinc, Market 2 Market, Corporate Protection Australia, Buslink, SPS and CQUniversity.
