Walk or run for a good cause and your registration fees will go back to local schools and charities.

Local primary and secondary schools

Parents can nominate their child's school to receive $5 from their registration fee when registering for the event. Proceeds from every primary and secondary school student registration will go back to their school.

In addition to this, Gladstone Ports Corporation will match the student registration amount and give it back to the nominated local primary or secondary school as a donation. A bonus payment system will be implemented to encourage student participation funded from parent and family registration fees.

Local schools will be able to use this money to provide healthy living programmes to their students.

Not-for-profit beneficiary

Proceeds from all other public registrations will be donated to the 2011 major beneficiary, Rosella Park School.
